Simple and Creamy Pumpkin Mousse Recipe

Pumpkin Mousse

This pumpkin mousse recipe is simple to make and tastes creamy and delicious. This recipe only uses a few simple ingredients. It is a great alternative to pumpkin pie. Pumpkin mousse makes a great Thanksgiving dessert, but is also a treat any time of year. If you like pumpkin pie, you will love this light and creamy alternative.


One fifteen ounce can of pumpkin

¾ cups of sugar

½ teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice

One tablespoon of pure vanilla extract

Three cups of whipped cream


Pour the pumpkin, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice, into a medium sauce pan. Simmer on medium-low heat for about ten minutes. Remove the sauce pan from the heat and allow to cool completely.

Pour the contents of the sauce pan into a large mixing bowl. Mix in the vanilla extract. Fold in the whipped cream until completely combined. Pour into a serving dish and chill for one hour in the refrigerator. Top with whipped cream when serving.
