This simple recipe is the perfect for all soda drinkers or anyone who likes to try things with a different twist to it. The recipe makes the salmon even sweeter and more delicious for you to enjoy, by adding coco cola with a hint of balsamic vinegar you will take your taste buds to another level.

Soda Grilled Salmon with a Sweet and Sour Glaze

Ingredients

1/12 cups of coco-cola

1/12 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar

1tablespoon of salt

1/2 cup of pearl onions, par-cooked

1/2 cup of bias-cut carrots, par-cooked

1/14 cups of white mushrooms, trimmed & sliced

1/14 pounds of salmon fillet, skin-on, portioned 5 oz. each

1/2 tablespoon of water

1/2 teaspoon of smoked black pepper

1/4 cup of precooked snow peas, strings removed

1 tablespoon of olive oil

Methods

Combine the Coca-Cola, balsamic vinegar and 1/8 teaspoon of salt in a sauce pan over medium-high heat and reduce to 1/2 cup, about 20 minutes. Remove from heat, Heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a large fry pan over medium heat combine your mushrooms, water and a dash of salt. Cook just until all most done about a few more minutes, add remaining vegetables mix well then remove from heat and hold while cooking fish.

To fish up tasty dish grab your salmon season them with the rest of the salt and pepper and set to the side for just a minute now using fry pan on a medium heat setting a the rest of your olive oil when the pan is hot enough place the salmon in the fry pan skin side down and sauté to get the skin crisp for about 6 to 8 minutes then flip the salmon over to the skin side then continue cooking for 5 minutes more making sure the fish is opaque remove from pan to a warm plate then add your vegetables back into the fry pan over medium-high heat and toss to reheat briefly. Serve fillets and mixed vegetables. Drizzle with glaze.
