Dehydrating foods include coffee, alcohol, salty foods, deli meats and any food high in sodium or salt content. Foods that are frozen and canned will be high in sodium. If you need extra hydration you should add cucumber, watermelon and lettuce to your diet. These are foods that have some of the highest water content.
Food that is high in sugar
These are foods referred to as high in glycemic, which will spike your blood sugar. This list includes white breads, pasta, potato chips, candy bars and white rice. Food that is extremely high in carbohydrates and starch as classified as high in sugar or glycemic.
Trans fat or fried foods
Everyone has heard about this group which includes nearly all of the fast food joints you can find. Stay away from them to keep your skin looking gorgeous. Other foods are margarine and anything that you can fry in cooking oil. Trans fat foods are known to slow your circulation. Slow circulation will cause pores of the skin to block which leads to bacteria forming, which will lead to acne and blackheads. Flaky skin is also a result of poor circulation in skin.
If you have allergies you want to avoid anything that you are allergic to. Numerous people have allergies they are not even aware of. Many of the most common allergens found in foods are gluten, dairy and nuts. Many allergic reactions that reveal themselves on the skin are shown as rashes and eczema breakouts. Sometimes you will even get odd or uneven pigmentation. If you cannot identify which food you may be allergic to try a process of elimination. Remove one at a time and see if you have a positive skin reaction.
