Spiced Right Rib House Roswell Georgia

Updated on August 10, 2009

True smoked BBQ. I checked, they don’t let the meat sit over fire, it’s truly smoked. I am a huge fan of the taste of smoked meat, and there are not a lot of places in Georgia that I have tried that really get that true smoked taste and aroma. Some of their meats are smoked up to twelve hours. I had just a BBQ pulled pork sandwich, and a Brunswick stew.

The BBQ pork sandwich was excellent, and believe me I am very picky. The meat was moist, but had a unique texture that made it just right. You can even smell the smoked scent in the meat. They only had one sauce, it was a mild sweet. The sauce perfectly complimented the meat, and I would purchase the sauce as a separate take home item, yea it’s that good.

The Brunswick stew was a bit thicker than I prefer, and had a very rich tomato taste that I was not that crazy about, but I did like it enough that I would order it again. The environment is small and intimate with a blues hint as you can see from the pics I took, and they have live blues bands play Friday and Saturday nights stating at 7:00pm

Getting there:
If you’re traveling 400N, you would exit Holcomb Bridge Rd. exit and go west approx. three miles, you would then turn left on Alpharetta Hwy. follow that about four miles, and turn left onto Atlanta Street. Spiced Right Rib House will be less than two miles on your left.

From Ga. 400, it’s about a five minute drive.

There is another location in Lilburn, but I haven’t tried it yet, I would assume the same quality.
