Spicy Cottage Cheese
- 400 ml milk, optional
- 200 gm cottage cheese
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 2 slices green bell pepper
- 2 slices yellow bell pepper
- 2 slices red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp Everest Kitchen King Masala
How to Prepare Cottage Cheese
To prepare cottage cheese at home take 400 ml of milk. Bring it to boil. Add 1 tbsp of vinegar to it. Stir till you get a soft solid called cottage cheese and a liquid. Separate the cottage cheese with the help of a sieve. The liquid can be used instead of water while making dough since the liquid is very nutritious. Take a muslin or thin cloth and cover the cottage cheese in it. Squeeze out all the water from the cottage cheese. Place the cottage cheese wrapped in the cloth in a bowl and put a weight on it so that the cottage cheese takes the shape of the bowl.
How to cut Cottage Cheese
Remove the cloth after say 5 minutes and cut the cottage cheese into 1 inch x 1 inch x 0.25 inch cuboids.
How to Marinate
Take a few slices of a tomato and bell peppers(green, yellow and red).
Take a bowl add 1/2 cup of buttermilk and 1 teaspoon of Everest Kitchen King Masala spice.
Marinate the cottage cheese, bell peppers and tomato slices in the spicy buttermilk.
How to Cook Spicy Cottage Cheese
Now switch on a gas stove on medium flame and with the help of a fork or barbecue stick put the slices of cottage cheese directly into it. Keep them in the flame till only the edges turn black. Similarly put the marinated bell pepper and tomato slices in the flame till they turn soft. Serve hot and let your toddler enjoy.
