Spicy Tomato Pasta

Updated on March 29, 2015

So simple to make. ready in 15 minutes.

400g pasta (any variety)

400g tin of chopped tomatoes.

2 tablespoons tomato puree.

3 salad(spring onions)

Herbs for flavour-dried basil, oregano, rosemary, chilliepowder.(as much or as little as required to taste.)

salt and pepper to taste

Cook pasta as per packet instructions.

while pasta cooks, put rest of ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

once you are happy with taste of sauce, leave aside.

drain pasta, and melt butter in to the pasta, or olive oil if preferred.

add sauce, and return to the heat, simmer for 5 minutes more.

chop up spring onions roughly and add to pasta.

spring onions add a nice fresh crunch to the pasta.

serve and enjoy.

I worked the price out per family of 6-8. I paid £3 for the ingredients.also using cupboard spices like basil, oregano and salt and pepper.great winter warmer.

As with all my recipes you can add hot chilly or other hot spices depending on your own personal preferences.

Tasty and Cheap to Make.

Great Dish to Enjoy in the Sunshine, but Just As Good As a Winter Warmer.
