Catherine is a coffee blogger and writer who has had a serious caffeine habit since 9 years old.

What Is Your Coffee Routine?

You know the drill, it’s morning, and you make or buy your usual cup of coffee. If you go out and frequent the same coffee shop, they may even know your order as soon as you walk in the door! This is your life. You know what you like so why change it? Well, it might be just the thing you need in your life.

When you were young, you had fruits and vegetables that you liked and others that you could not stand. When you got older, you may have had a friend make the same fruit or vegetable which you tried again and realized that now you are older, it wasn’t so bad. The same can be said for your coffee preference.

Why Not Step Out Of Your Coffee Comfort Zone and Try Something New?

If you usually buy hot coffee, get an iced one this time. You can try out the different flavor add-ins and see if there is a new taste you like. You can try the flavor of the moment coffee as well and see if you add to your taste preferences. You can choose to try black coffee, regular creamer, flavored creamer, syrup flavors, or a combination of these. The idea is just to make sure that you don’t get yourself in a coffee rut. You can explore the various flavored beans as well.

Should You Go Crazy?

Now, I’m by no means saying you need to buy the biggest coffee when you try these, get a small if you want just to try it. You can also ask if they have coffee samples available. This way you can try a very small amount, and if you don’t like it, there’s no problem. Another option would be to bring a friend and then you can each try each other’s coffee.

What To Do In Times Of A Caffeine Emergency!

One important point to make though is if you are having a need caffeine bad moment don’t use that time to try something new. Wait until you are feeling a little more adventurous. This way you can be more open to the new flavors. Some days you just need that tried and true cup o’ joe to make it through the day. Go with your regular then. When you are on a more even caffeine keel then reach for adventure.

Maybe It's Time To Shake Things Up!

The saying goes if you always do what you’ve always done, you always get what you’ve always got. Shake things up and try some new coffee drinks. You might just discover a new favorite!
