Strange combinations of food

How you ever seen someone eating an odd combination of foods and wondered: "What are they thinking?" I'm sure you have. There are many weird combinations of food out there. As a matter of fact I am almost certain that if there are foods out there that were never meant to be together there is someone who has joined them. Actually as unusual as some of the combinations are the people combining them swear that they are absolutely delicious.

I can remember years ago going out with my husbands Uncle Ray for breakfast and watching him cover his pancakes with pepper and wonder how in the world he could eat them that way. He loved it.

I also remember going out to breakfast with a friend and their family and sitting next to one of her relatives who was eating brains and eggs covered with mayonnaise. Not my cup of tea but she ate every bite.

All of us I am sure have memories of loved ones or friends who have grossed us out by their choice of food combinations. A lot of us have done the grossing out. To tell the truth, I tried a few of the following combinations and have found out that they are pretty good. I guess sometimes you just don't know what you are missing.

Actually I think I could eat your collard andwich and like it. I agree, reading about the combinations isn't too bad. However for me, the idea of having some of them sitting there in front of me waiting to be eaten kinda grosses me out. Oh well, to each his own. Thanks.

You know what? - while I have never tried these combos, (I do know a guy that ate mayonnaise sandwiches which should have been a clue to me to run) - but for some reason these combos appeal to me now. Hmmmm. I don't know why. Or maybe just reading them doesn't seem as bad as actually eating them.

My only odd thing was a collard green sandwich on white bread with hot sauce or relish. Now who can refuse that?

Such a fun hub! Thank you!
