Strawberry And Blueberry Cake Recipe

  • 2 egg
  • 1cup low fat yoghurt or cream
  • 1.5cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1 cup strawberries cut in halves
  • 1 / 2 cup blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons Amaretto wine
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

Cooking time: 15min. (35-40 minutes in the oven)

Mix the eggs, yoghurt or cream, sugar, vanilla extract and Amaretto wine in one bowl. In the other bowl mix flour and baking soda. Then mix everything together. Add the berries to the pastry. Pour the pastry in a saucepan and bake for 35-40minutes. Serve cooled, sliced and with a ball of ice cream or a bit of whip cream on top.

This is an easy to advanced difficulty recipe for making a strawberry and blueberry cake. This cake tastes great with tea or coffee. You can top this cake with various toppings such as melted chocolate or fruit or berry jam. A fruit or berry syrup or maybe even jelly topping (made of sweet cream or fruit or berries) can suit well this strawberry and blueberry cake.
