Sugar Fruits are easy and fun to make..As you are making these visions of Sugar Plums will dance in your head.

They look absolutely stunning on a Holiday table

Sugar coated-fruit can be kept at room temperature for up to 24 hours. DO NOT REFRIGERATE!

Ingredients For Sugared Fruit

  • assorted whole fruits, grapes, pears, apples, berries etc.
  • 2 tsp. meringue powder
  • 4 tbs. water
  • superfine or granulated sugar

Instructions For Sugared Fruit

  1. Wash all fruit. Allow it to dry on paper towels.
  2. In a bowl or custard cup combine the meringue powder with water. Stir with a fork until the powder is completely dissolved.
  3. place sugar in a shallow plate. Dip small fruit into liquid and roll in sugar. Brush liquid onto larger fruits and spoon sugar over. Allow fruit to dry before arranging or stacking.
