Super Sporty Fuel Vegan Smoothie

This is a delicious freshly made sweet, energising smoothie. Ideal to be consumed before or after undergoing a heavy workout. If you are a vegan, vegetarian or you just want to live a healthier lifestyle. Then, this is the perfect smoothie for you. It is quick, easy and delicious.


½ large ripe banana

¼ avocado

2 apples

½ cucumber

1. Put the banana, avocado flesh and ice into a high powered blender

2. Juice the apples and cucumber in a high powered juicer and pour the freshly squeezed juice into the blender

3. Blend all the ingredients in the blender until smooth

4. Consume the smoothie straight away, it is not advisable to store this smoothie and drink it later.

Fact: Apples can help to curb and fight cancer cells. Scientists from the America Association for Cancer Research believe that eating apples can decrease the risk of the development of pancreatic cancer by up to 23 percent. Compounds such as triterpenoids are found in the skin of apples can significantly reduce the growth of cancer cells.

      Yum. I love all the ingredients. Cucumber adds such a lightness to smoothies. I keep them in my crisper all the time now. Thanks for a great and healthful recipe.
