Super Strawberry Smoothies
My children absolutely love it, when I make fruit smoothies for breakfast. I have several good recipes for strawberry smoothies, and other fruit smoothies that I will be sharing over the next couple days. I usually add a piece of toast with peanut butter or a whole grain waffle to top the morning off.
Most children are very fond of strawberries and mine are no exception. In fact my kids would rather have these smoothies for breakfast over sugary cereals any day.
Strawberries are high in vitamin C and fiber making them an awesome fruit to enjoy for breakfast.
- 1 can strawberry breeze juice concentrate, thawed
- 4-5 large ice cubes
- 1 1/2 cups strawberry flavored yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
- 2 large bananas, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons honey
Place juice and ice cubes into the blender first. Then add the rest of the ingredients in order given. Place cover on blender and process on ice crush for 15 to 20 seconds until all ingredients are well blended. Serve immediately. This recipe makes 4 servings.
