Sweet As Pumpkin Pie,

Pupkin Pie Recipe

1 Cup of Sugar

1.5 Tsp Cinnamon

1 tsp Ground Cloves

1 tsp Allspice

1/2 Tsp ground ginger

1/2 tsp Salt

4 large eggs

3 cups of Pumpkin

1 1/2 cups of Evaporated Milk

Mix all these ingredients together until smooth, Once it is mixed add to pie crust and bake at 350 degree's for one hour or until golden brown and set.

Pie Crust

3 cups of Flour

1 1/4 tsp salt

2 tsp Baking Powder

6 Tbsp Ice Water

1 tbsp Sugar

1 cup Shortening.

In a large bowl combine flour,sugar,Baking Powder and Salt. Place 1/2 cup of mixture in a bowl and add the ice water. Mix until smooth. Cut in the shortening into the rest of the mixture and then slowly add the ice water mixture. Wrap in siran wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Then divide into 2 and roll into a circle and place in to a pie pan cutting off the excess from the rim and place the pumpkin pie mix into the pie crust and bake.

I also use this pie crust for apple pie and strawberry rhubarb pie also. You wont believe how good this crust is.
