Sweet-N-Spicey Chili- Great for Superbowl!

Updated on February 3, 2012

This Will Get the Party Started!

I made this chili as an experiment and it was a hit for my "guinea pigs". Now I am not even going to bother giving proportions because I cooked it for two. I'll just tell you what I put in the chili.

What You Need

Canned Chili Beans

Bush's Maple Cured Baked Beans

Hamburger

Bacon

Canned Diced Tomatoes (your choice of what kind and drained or not drained)

Hot Chili Mix

Ground Red Pepper

Hot Sauce (Texas Pete, Red Hot, Louisiana, or Tabasco)

Brown Sugar

Onion

Butter

Prep

First, chop the onion however you like and cut up bacon. Brown the hamburger in the pot you will be using for the chili. As your hamburger is browning, throw in the hot chili mix, cut up bacon, chopped onion, and a little bit of butter to caramelize the onion. After that looks good, dump in the chili beans, Bush's maple cured baked beans, tomatoes (not drained or drained), and a little bit of red pepper. Pour in as much hot sauce that you can handle and as much brown sugar as you like to give it that amazing flavor. Try to keep the brown sugar and hot sauce amounts about even. Stir it all up, bring to a slow boil until nice and hot, serve, and enjoy. I hope I have not left anything out, and I hope this chili kicks off your Superbowl Sunday.

Warning Not for children.
