Amish Country Popcorn
When I decided I didn't want to eat microwave popcorn anymore, I just bought the regular kernels at the grocery store. I was surprised at just how tasty regular old stove top popcorn was. Then, I discovered Amish Country popcorn... It's so tender and perfect. Combined with some ground pink salt, this is the best popcorn you'll ever eat.
Making Your Popcorn
- Add about a 1/2 cup of kernels to a saucepan with a lid.
- Add enough oil to coat all the kernels. It's better to have a little extra oil than not enough. Any type of oil will work although I prefer safflower or sesame oil.
- Cover and heat on medium-high heat until the popping begins!
- Enjoy with salt to taste!
