This farm, this valley, our sanctuary, our Church

Updated on December 29, 2011

A Sanctuary/Church enshrined in Nature

Even though I am a Master of Science, and have studied theology and medicine at some of America's finest universities, and I have worshiped, and preached, by the way, in Asia and the Americas, I go to Nature to find God, and to fellowship with God.

I always, without exception, find God, in Nature.

Let's look at a portion of the Creation Story that deals with human to partake in the beauty of the way it reads. Genesis, the first chapter, the 26th through the 31th verses:

And God said,

Let us

make man in our image,

after our likeness,

and let them

have dominion over the fowl of the air,

and over the cattle,

and over all of the earth,

and over every creeping thing

that creepeth upon the earth.

So God created man

in his own image,

in the image of God

created he him;

male and female

created he them.

And God blessed them,

and God said unto them,

Be fruitful,

and multiply,

and replenish the earth,

and subdue it:

and have dominion over the fis of the sea,

and over the fowl of the air,

and over every living thing

that moveth upon the earth.

And God said,

I have given you

every herb bearing seed,

which is upon the face

of all the earth,

wherein there is life,

I have given every green herb

for meat:

and it was so.

And God saw

that he had made,

and, behold,

it was very good.

And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Contemplate all of the above, in the Creation Story segment that we just read to behold the beauty of it all.

I am a great scientist, "a half-way decent" theologian, and I love Nature and the concept of God. I know the Creation Story and much of what in the Bible verbatim and "cold," in its entirety. This is to be expected from one training within the halls of the finest universities in the world. But also, I have had to master the Evolution theory, in substance and in a way that I could put it into practice doing research studies in medicine. Evolution has it place in Nature and in the Lab. It is difficult to be a scientist without a mastery of evolution. That's just the way it is.

So, "why do I need Nature and God?" I need Nature and God, so that I "may have life, so that I may have life more abundantly." Nature is the context in which I have fellowship with God. I have no church building on my farm. There is a small space, in my mother's house, on the farm, were we can worship inside, if need be. My followers are on the World Wide Web. I have lots of followers. They believe that I "truly believe" what I say I believe. So, they follow me. I pray for my followers by name. Write me, and ask me to pray for you, for you head cold, for you baby in your womb, for you brain cancer that needs to be cured, for your breast cancer, that needs to go away, for your gastrointestinal cancer, or ulcer, or bleed, that need to be cured.

I need you to pray for me, for my strength, for my wisdom, for my spirituality, for my well being.

You who follow me, you are my Church, as far as fellowship is concerned. Lets move forward upon this spiritual path that our God has given us. "As you go, Peace."
