Useful tip for Pizza Order Sauce Container

Wait...Don't Toss that Sauce Container!

We try not to waste things in our house. Sometimes when we have guests over and we order dinner from a Pizza Restaurant everyone likes to order different things. So I've noticed that there is always left overs. I try to have my friends take home any left overs, however, those small containers of pizza sauce are usually left all over the place!

One day just before I was going to toss the containers, I decided to put them in the refrigerator until I could think of a good way to use them up.

There is always some kink of pasta in our house. I had a nice bag of Tomato/Spinach/Carrot dried Pasta and thought...why not give it a try. It fooled my husband. He didn't know that I used left over sauce from the night before.

Adding a nice fresh salad completed the meal and now I use those containers all the time.

Thank you sarifearnbd. Always look to use something before discarding. Every penny counts.

Great idea. We often discard leftover sauces, etc, but I think I will try this next time. Very creative!

I hate to waste the extra little cups of sauce as well. Sometimes I make little pizza's with english muffins. This would be perfect to try!

Good ideas! The sauce would pack well in a lunch box as well to pair with pre-prepared pasta or similar at lunch time (as long as you have access to a microwave).
