Turmeric Latte - Immunity Booster
Turmeric Milk or Latte is a great home remedy for Cough, Cold, congestion & digestive issues. Turmeric is rich in Curcumin and has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for ages due to its strong antioxidant properties.
There are numerous health benefits of Turmeric Milk.
It's best to consume Turmeric milk at night before sleeping. Let's make some :)
Cook Time
Ingredients
- 1/4 teaspoon - Turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon - Black Pepper, grounded
- 1/2 inch piece / 1 pinch - Ginger, fresh or powdered
- 2 cups - Milk, (Dairy, Almond Milk, Soy Milk)
- 1/4 teaspoon - Cinnamon powder
- 2-3 drops - Vanilla essence
- 1-2 teaspoon - Sugar or Honey, as per taste
Instructions
- Take a pan and put half the milk into it at medium flame for 3-4 mins.
- Add Turmeric powder, Cinnamon powder, Ginger, Black pepper, Sugar to the pan, and mix properly for 2 mins. Note: If you are adding Honey then don't add it at this stage.
- Now add remaining milk and vanilla essence and stir the mixture for 1 min.
- Switch off the flame & Strain the Milk in two cups. At this point add Honey if you have not added sugar.
- Turmeric milk is ready to be consumed.
