Valentine's Day Special- Strawberry Blueberry Smoothie
Strawberry smoothies are yum!
Whenever I think of smoothies, the first thing that crosses my mind is a glass full of creamy Strawberry smoothie . I love it so very much. I love it for its rich taste, I love it for its beautiful color and I love it because it is healthy. You can say I am a smoothie addict! I have had several types of smoothies but I have a particular weakness for this strawberry smoothie.
Today morning I was thinking what would be the ideal drink to celebrate V-Day with my husband and the idea of this special smoothie came in my mind. It is needless to say my favorite strawberries are an integral part of this smoothie recipe that I am going to share with you guys.
What's going inside?
Well Strawberries for sure and to make the smoothie all the more attractive and yummy I have also thrown in some blueberries. You know there is a reason behind my choice of fruits for this special Valentine's Day smoothie. Any guesses? Well these two fruits are powerful energy resources. They increase the blood circulation of the body and they are low in calorie count. Moreover both these fruits can very well recharge your "feel good hormones" and set you on a romantic mood. Strawberries and blueberries are potent love-fruits that can sizzle up the chemistry between you two.
Here I have used frozen strawberries and blueberries. I simply chopped the strawberries in four halves and also added some blueberries in a bowl and kept them inside the refrigerator to freeze for at least 2 hours before I used them in my smoothie drink. These frozen fruits will simply substitute the necessity of using ice cubes in the smoothie.

Let's make things a little bit more creamy
I love creamy smoothies. There is something that is very delicious about them. Oh wait! Do not think I don't care for my readers' health. Absolutely I do care. I do use fat-free yogurts and whipped creams and I suggest you do the same too but somehow I simply cannot overlook their presence in my smoothies. I need health but I also badly need taste in my life. So I cannot deny the presence of whipped creams in my smoothie. You will see for yourself that it will make your smoothie tastier than ever. Just try using cream the next time, at least on Valentine's Day, you will definitely feel the difference. Apart from a mind-blowing taste your smoothie is going to gain a rich texture that will make it even more seductive.
Blending is fun
Yes it is. One thing came in my mind that this particular smoothie can be a couple task. Mind you couple task can turn out to be naughty. Make this simple smoothie together. It is nothing difficult. Throw in all the needed ingredients in the blender and give it a quick swirl and yes it is ready. You can pour it in a single glass. Start your favorite movie, snuggle up close to each other and then-Sip, Share, Watch and Love! What more do you want?! Your V-day celebration will start on a perfect note.
The tale of two pink little mustaches!
I cannot wait to share this little funny incident with you guys. It was long before our marriage I and my would be husband were sitting in a coffee shop. Again drinking my favorite of all times strawberry smoothie. I still remember we had a fight and were feeling very cranky at that time. We were sipping on our respective smoothies for sometime when our eyes met each other. Instantly we burst out in laughter. We were so obnoxiously loud that people around us started giving us a glaring look. We each had pink little mustaches on our upper lips. It looked so awesomely funny. I believe our strawberry smoothies helped us to reconcile our fights and gave us some good reason for an innocent hearty laugh. Every time I make strawberry smoothie now we both remember and cherish that day's innocent laugh. It still rings in our ears. I say this time you both can try to sip your smoothie with your mouth without using a straw and can share a good laugh. It is sure to unwind both of you. A good laughter can very well ease out certain things between you two.
