Vegan Tortillas: RAW

Tortillas are very versatile, not to mention delicious. You can use them to make wraps with various healthy, yet tasty fillings and you can use them to replace your regular sandwich. Being raw vegan does not mean that you cannot experience the satisfaction of sandwiches and, or tortilla wraps. These yummy wraps are healthy, and very filling. So, why not give them a try.

Here is what you need





To make these raw vegan tortilla wraps, you are going to need the following ingredients.

2 cups young coconut meat

¼ cup red bell pepper, chopped

1 tablespoon beet juice

¼ teaspoon sea salt


1.To make these wraps you need to put the coconut meat, red bell pepper, beet juice and ¼ teaspoon of sea salt into a blender. Blend everything together until it resembles a batter.

2. Spread the batter mixture onto dehydrator trays. Make sure you use parchment paper or non-stick dehydrator sheets. This is important, because you need to be able to peel the wraps off the sheets without them sticking.

3. Dehydrate the mixture for 4 hours on 115 degrees Fahrenheit. When they are dry enough to peel off, you can cut them into your desired shape and fill them with what you like

You can fill these tortillas with salsa, salad, avocado, veggie mince and various other yummy fillings. If you wanted your wraps to be a different colour, you could add spinach juice, carrot juice or any other juice. If you add turmeric, you will get a bright yellow coloured wrap. Enjoy!
