load of milk from here in iowa, and take it out to Ohio, drive a few miles north and bring a load of milk back to a plant 90 miles north of here. The same stuff!What justifies that.All we need is some common sense!
I think as the cost of fuel has risen so much over the past ten years so has the cost of food because of transportation. I worked for the Dairy Industry for many years and I remember a time when the company I worked for actually had to stop selling to small customers because they did not make enough in sales to justify spending the fuel to deliver the product.
