If I were a sushi eater, I bet I'd say sticky. It seems those little bites of white rice wrapped in seaweed are of necessity sticky, to hold the coin of rice sturdily within that skinny green wrapper.
But since I'm not.....I like my rice fluffy. In fact, if it's not, I consider it a bit of a failure. Like soggy rice. Which is what I get way too often, since I only make rice for two, to avoid leftovers. It is very difficult to get the proportion of rice and water just right on such a small quantity. So, only once in a while do I get to have my rice exactly the way I like it....fluffy.
