I'm always into maintaining. When I need to drop a few pounds, I do a combination of a few simple things:
I reduce the portion sizes of the meal, salads and fruits only, cut out the sweets, and move more. After a few days, I'm down to where I need to be.

no meal diet works. I've tried weight watchers and several others. When I've lost weight by watching it was by cutting out carbonated drinks such as coke, etc.
No special meal plan. I eat everything what I want and I'm losing weight slowly. But no junk foods, of course, and everything is about balance.
