I have severe lactose intolerance. I cannot drink milk, eat ice cream, or eat too much cheese. So I have bought lactose free milk from the store, which really is nice, because it lets me get the calcium and Vitamin D that I need. I also have tried the lactose free cheese, which is kind of oily tasting more than tasty. I did not really care for it, so I don't eat that any more. I can have one slice of cheese and that is it. If I have more, my tummy will be upset. There is lactose free ice cream out there but I haven't tried it as yet. For some reason, yogurt does not bother me, and I can eat as much of it as I want to without getting sick.
If you still want to drink milk, you can try soy or rice milk. The Silk Chocolate Almond Milk is a wonderful substitute for Chocolate Milk, which I miss sometimes. Those might help you as well. Good luck!
