Pan-seared rib-eye steak and instant mashed potatoes-

Pre-heat a heavy skillet, add some fat, oil or butter, then slap two Angus ribeyes in there. sear for 7-10 minutes on each side over high heat. Meanwhile boil the water, milk and butter for the mashed potatoes.(directions are on the box)

There you have it- a meal fit for a king (or a queen)

One medium sized head of broccoli boiled or steamed (healthier) with a can of Campbell's Chunky Cheddar and Bacon Bits soup (not so healthy) poured over the top, covered with grated cheese.  Course not everyone will think this is a "recipe".     wink

An endless variety of pasta dishes can be made in half an hour. That's what I often do when short of time. A quick red sauce from canned, diced tomato takes just that long to simmer. The pasta itself is a matter of a quarter hour or less. A cream sauce, e.g. clam, is twenty minutes. That, a salad, and a piece of pane rustico is all I need.

I am not a cook (yet). I am hopeful that soon I will be a little bit of one.
Having said that, I couldn't help but answer this by saying, Jamie Oliver has published a book entitled just that, "Jamie Oliver's 30 minute Meals".

My family has tried some of the recipes in it, and they are pretty cool.
He has also made a TV show, with the same title, which I have watched.

But, to be fair to the intent of your question, I recon there are many recipes that Hubbers have that would not be in said book. smile

    Ok AEvans try this out.

    6 flour tortillas
    1/2 lb pepperjack cheese
    1/2 lb pepperoni sliced
    butter for spreading
    1/2 bell pepper diced
    1/2 red onion diced
    5-6 button mushrooms diced

In a big skillet melt a little butter place one tortilla in sprinkle on the cheese. Place the pepperoni in a circle from the center out, put on some of the veggies hit it with some more cheese, spread a thin layer of butter on a tortills and  cover tortilla in the skillet. Cook until crisp flip it over do the other side. Repeat the process with the rest of the tortilla's

To give it some spiceyness you can pour some Chili Verde salsa into a small bowl and use for dipping sauce. Ole'

I just made this one up since I opened my email and this question was first on the list hope it meets with the rules of the question ")
