We love to use Capers in many of our dishes that we cook, particularly, our favorite Lemon Chicken Picatta.
Capers are actually the unripened buds of the bush by the same name and they give a great sour and salty flavor to a dish.

Capers are unripened flowers (technically buds) of Capparis Spinosa, a native plant of the Mediterranean and some parts of Asia. It can be used in pasta, in a sauce or toss with salads. I've a recipe here with chicken and parsley:
