It's quite simple really and will make you look like a great cook when you dish out yummy pancakes in a jiffy!
I'll give you the recipe for one portion. You can scale it up as per your need.
What you need
2 cup Refined Flour (or whole wheat flour if you are health conscious)
Water to make a smooth batter.
4 tbsps Powdered Sugar or Honey (you can change this as per taste)
2 tbsps.finely chopped walnuts (or any other dried fruits of your choice)
1 large mashed banana (or any other fruit pulp of your choice)
1 tsp baking powder
A few drops of Vanilla Essence
How to Make
Mix the flour and water to make a smooth batter of pouring consistency (not very watery) Tip - remember to sift the flour before mixing with water.
Add the sugar/ honey, banana, vanilla essence and baking powder. Keep aside for 10 - 15 mins.
Heat a non stick pan. Grease it and pour a small laddle ful of batter. Spread gently with laddle or by lifting and rotating the pan. Sprinkle a few walnuts.
Let it cook on a low flame for a min. When you think it can be lifted off the pan with a spatula easily. gently turn it over and cook both sides to a golden brown.
Serve hot with whipped cream or honey or maple syrup or any other syrup/sauce of your choice.
Variation - If you find it difficult to make them with walnut pieces or dont like to chew 'em nuts, powder the nuts in the mixer and add to the batter for the flavour.
Hope you enjoy your pancakes as much as I do.
