Why are so few foods blue?

Blueberries are obviously blue. Some grapes and plums are purple. What other blue foods are there? And why so few? Does it relate to the sorts of compounds that make the blue color and their uses for the plant? Or is it related to what color best enourages or discourages it from being eaten?
