hate, cant say this but i have no hasitation or grudges in saying that some food gets less priority than others have,  it may be because many other options are available...and perhaps it wud have not so when there was no other option!
anyway, food that i strongly avoid eating is 'Yam' for its hard to digest quality.

I don't like Pies, such as apple pie, or chicken, beef pies, the gravy of the pies put me off eating them. However vegetable pies taste great. So what's your most hated food  livingpah2004 ?

This one's easy...I cannot stand the dreaded RUTABAGA. I have not eaten it since I was a child. I can remember walking in the kitchen and smelling that stuff cooking and just wanting to go to bed! And kittythedreamer, beets are right behind rutabagas in my book!

It's a giant yellow turnip. I just remember that awful smell when they were cooking. My mother served them over rice. At my mother's table, you ate what you were served, no questions asked. Thank goodness,I don't smell them at her house anymore!

I hate beets.  My mom used to serve them with dinner sometimes when I was a child, and the smell of  was awful.  As an adult I still can't stand them.

Speaking from the standpoint of living in Peru, I don't like tripe (cow stomach) or intestines. It's not so much the flavor as the texture that bothers me. Guinea pig is a delicacy here but I'm not too fond of it, either, as it's greasy and dark and requires a lot of work to get a little bit of meat.
