This is a damn good question! Why is that? I personally am not one of those picky ninny's who complains about eating leftovers or the same thing two or even three days in a row. I had the privilege at one time when I was a teen to be so poor I spent most of my time eating rice. Rice with spam, rice with canned veggies, rice with hot sauce, rice with...well, anything that you can find that is not a meal on its own. Having been to that level of need I take nothing for granted and everything is a gift.
As far as the picky ninny's go I am literally surrounded by them! Of my sweetheart's five kids each and every one was a picky little ungrateful ??!!##, well you get the idea, they are grown now and they have not changed. Its so easy to be picky when you arent the one paying for the food and doing the shopping. Reality is something picky ninny's seem to ignore up until the last minute of need and then they stand there and act like they made some great discovery. News flash! You were always an idiot, get over yourself and deal with what you have!
Sorry, this is a sore spot for me. Another good example I have are single adult men with no relationships and men who were the only child. I have friends in both these categories and they are all picky little girls! I can only explain their mindset by saying they are used to getting things done their way, when they want it. Like spoiled children or squemish little girls they let the smallest details get under their skin. I often wonder what is going to happen to these effete' ladies when the shit finally goes down and we are fighting for survival. I know one thing, I won't mind eating whatever I can cook. They on the other hand are going to starve or die trying to get the last steak from the grocery store freezer.
