In 2008, Hershey's stopped using cocoa butter in some of its brands. They are not alone, many snack foods are no loner made with the original ingredients that gave them their distinctive flavor. Some use less salt, some substitute corn syrup for sugar. The reasons range from health concerns to lowering production costs. Even though the flavor may be similar, even though it may pass focus group testing, is their an original flavor that you truly miss?

I too would be willing to pay a little bit more for the original recipe and full size. Sadly, we are outnumbered by those who are not willing to do so.
