From the comments I've been getting on my Weird Items At Walmart - China Edition, I was wondering if anyone has tried some unusual foods? I've had alligator, horse, crayfish, and rabbit. Not that strange, but not usually found at your local grocery store. Thank you for your input! :)

Wow! You got a little excitement with your meal! :) That actually sounds pretty good. :) Grandpa always said, "Only kill what you can eat." Guess your neighbor heard that too. :) Great share!
Hi Ciel! :) I bet it's kinda weird eating meat if you aren't used to it. Probably stranger than me trying to live as a vegetarian. Thank you for your answer, nice to see different perspectives. :)
vespa, you mean those cute little critter they sell in the pet store here?! Wow. I'm in awe of you that you tried it. I bet you don't look at the the same way any more, huh? :)
leroy, I'll have to take your word for it. I just don't think I could make myself try that. I have had a cheese and mayo sandwich, but the jam. I can't even eat apples with cheese. Call me a dunderhead, but I just can't do it. Thank you for sharing!
Yuck. And you would not believe how many people I've actually seen do that on the rivers in Alaska. I prefer my fish with a little heat added. :)
Ha! That reminds me of the "special eggs"
I was in Spain with my mother --We were in a cafe near a bull fighting arena, and my mother ordered the special eggs. The waiter told her that she probably didn't want to order that. (Special bull "huevos"
I'm sorry, I was laughing so hard at that image! That WOULD make a great hub, Debbie! I can't wait to read it! Excellent story. :) Thank you for sharing that. *giggle*
When I was about fifteen I bought frozen sweetbreads in a supermarket. I thought they were some kind of cake. I got a bit of a shock when I opened the pack but even then I didn't know what they were :)
Wow! Today your science teacher probably would have been fired and sued. A couple of my friends have eaten worms, and like you, said they weren't bad. :) Thank you for sharing your experience. :)
Clayton, do you remember if it was good or bad? :)
I've heard of sweet breads but have never been brave enough to try. You deserve a gold star! :)
EW! I've been offered that before and just have never felt compelled to try it. Thank you for sharing your experience. Now I know I'll never say yes! :)
I had whelks long ago. They look like snails but they are shellfish, not slimy, but pretty chewy! I wouldn't be tempted to eat them again.
