Turmeric is versatile. It is often added to curry (curry paste has it as one of its ingredients). Used it to marinate fish, tofu, chicken, beef or seafood with some salt. It is added to soup, rice and casseroles for color and flavor. Treat it as a spice and play with it--you can go wrong. In Asia, it is also used as a pickling spice and in stir-fry.
