round chicken, fat noodles and peas, I believe were my exact words when asked what I wanted as a child. It was a chicken patty with egg noodles, and I loved peas. Since then I don't eat meat, I only eat whole wheat pasta and I don't eat peas because they never taste like mom's did. She also used to make what she called rissols, which were mashed potatoe with tuna and cheese formed into patties and pan fried. I'd usually have those with cabbage as I loved cabbage. And I really enjoyed her tuna noodle casserole. It wasn't anything spectacular, just noodles, tuna and cream of mushroom soup. But I think that was my absolute favorite growing up.
