Is water your first option when you are thirsty?

Do you drink water every day, or can weeks pass before you'll drink your next glass of water? How often do you drink water? Not tea or coffee, just plain (perhaps filtered) rainwater ...

Completely agree with you on the issue of use of plastic in bottfling driking water.

Yes, water is important. During my first pregnancy I had dreadful cramps in my legs. Some helpful person told me that could be due to dehydration so I made sure I drank lots of water in later pregnancies. :)

Hi Georgie. I had to google Mio because I've never heard of it. The ingredients list is kind of scarey. Do you use it in all your water? I wonder what your well water would taste like if you filtered it. I don't think mio is sold here in oz ... yet.

I had never heard of kombucha tea, renee21, and had to google it. Looks like a good topic for a hub - particularly if you make it yourself!

Hi Claudia. We are in a heat wave at the moment yet I have encountered a lot of people who say they don't drink water. I was wondering if my family was somehow out of step with the rest of the world because we always choose water first.

Thanks, SimpleJoys. I've not had seltzer water since I was a child but I still remember getting bubbles up my nose. :)

I am hearing you peachpurple. I carry a bottle with me as well. It is a long walk to the kitchen from the far end of my yard, but sometimes the walk seems even more daunting from the couch to the kitchen at the end of a long day. :)

I will follow your lead visionandfocus and add freshly squeezed lemon juice to my morning water, at least while there are lemons on my tree. :)

Despite being acidic in its natural form, it turns alkaline as its metabolized by the body. Great idea.

We are in the middle of a heat wave here so I keep a bottle of water nearby to make sure I don't forget to drink. Like you lburmaster, when I am busy I have to remind myself. :)
