What's the one thing you need to have in your favorite salad?

    vespawoolf,

I put chopped apple in Waldorf salad, but now I'm going to try it in my big salad recipe. It sounds good.

I don't think I've tried butter lettuce, but I love the lettuce with the reddish color at the edges. I also use chopped kale, and lots of spinach.

    Thanks so much,

    Lisa

    Claudia,

I put pecans, almonds, walnuts, pine nuts, or sunflower seeds in every salad I make. They make the salad don't you think?

    Aupriann Myers,

    I don't think I ever eat a salad without chicken. It's great isn't it?

    Thanks,

    Lisa

    RosesProse,

I love tomatoes. I try and grow them every year. In fact I forgot my tomatoes at the store and now I can't have my salad until I go back. They are so good for you. I like them with a bit of olive oil and basil.

    Thank you,

    Lisa
