Starbucks has just ban smoking within 25 feet of all of their stores. This means no more enjoying a smoke with your coffee on the outdoor patio.

Can I order my coffee from 25 ft away too. This rule is stupid plain and simple. How does smoking outside negatively effect anyone else? It doesnt.
Dana Reeve (Christopher Reeve's wife) died at age 44 of lung cancer...guess what? She was a non-smoker. Proof that second hand smoke "exisits" and while not "confirmed", I surely wouldn't want to take chances.
The rest of your rant, irrelevant.
Great, you drive your car there, do not smoke but die from cancer. Could it have been the car rather than someone smoking? Just the danged chemicals that give it a "new car smell" are carcinogenic. Could it have been in the pounds of sugar she used?
My grandfather died of cirrhosis, never took a drink in his life. Second hand drinking you suppose?
Don't care about your personal problems "Ericdierker." Just stating what happened to her. Don't like your attitude either. No one knows what causes any health situations in life. You could be extremely healthy, yet die from something unrelated.
Your car is your personal space. Outside Starbucks is not, it's in the public space.
I know of properties where you cannot even smoke in your car. They will ask you to leave.
Jay, not it is not. It is private. End of story. A public place is like a commonly used sidewalk built by the government or a street that one would be on driving their car.
...JThomp42....smart guy! Not really, but this is the Internet, so everyone is right and has their own opinions. I'm not getting into a argument. Good day! :)
