What do you do when you just start to get bored with food?

I thumb through recipe after recipe and it all is the same to me. I'm bored of American food and all ethnic food seems redundant too. How do I spice it up with out adding the spicy?

I think what it is, is that I don't know enough about ethnic foods to cook it myself. I'll give that dog food a try though ;)

Yes! I have wanted to do the raw food thing (In love with welikeitraw.com!), But in general, I really enjoy warm food. And I completely agree with everything you're saying! :)

I do want to try French cooking - let's face it, Julia Childs is pretty inspiring! Maybe now is the time to try. Thanks for the suggestion!

I"m generally pretty good with making my own stuff up. I went through a phase for the first 5 years of my adult life of just dating chefs (I highly recommend it!) and learned a little bit about throwing stuff together. I think I'm bored of the store

mmmm gator! I wish we had a supplier for that. We're pretty far from the south, I don't know where I'd get that. But you're right, I'll give something super new and unusual a go!

Boy howdy do I love the food channel! I just never have time to watch it! lol.

I do surf the internet for recipes, but it's always the kind of American dishes I have to wade through. I used to sit for hours writing recipes on index cards online!
