Eating soups in the spring or summer

My question is do you eat or prepare soups in the warm spring or summer months and if you do what kind do you love eating.

We had a Santa Fe soup just this week, but probably won't again until fall.  Summer soup for us is usually veggies from the garden with a vegetable or chicken broth base.

It's food. It is delicious. Therefore we eat it when ever we have the taste for it.

I agree with you food can be eaten any time no matter what kind it is.

For me, soup is a year-round pleasure. It's one of my favorite foods to prepare and enjoy. The soups I most often make are beef and vegetable (using hamburger), beef noodle (using beef shank bones and egg noodles), and chicken/turkey rice.

Most of the time I only follow the outline of a recipe. I usually add more ingredients than the recipe requires. I recently bought a 9-quart stock pot for this purpose.

What are your favorites, Handicapped Chef?
