In my opinion salt, or at least to much salt is not good for you. I only use salt on two occasions: (1) on my Sunday morning soft boiled egg and (2) whenever I have Chips (french-fries). These days never in my cooking.
With sweet things, I am taking it that you mean cakes and the like. These or not good for many things in the body, i.e. teeth, skin, but worst of all the diabetes illness.
What the hell, we aren't on this earth all that long. So a nice big piece of "Tiramisu" is naughty but VERY nice.
Answer: Just thinking about that cake makes my mouth salivate.
