McDonalds restaurants are having a tough time this year with declining revenues. They are trying the new table service idea to see if this entices customers to come back. What do you think?

Yes, that does sound logical; it's part of a master plan to have the customer pay the employees instead. ;-)

I think you're right about McDonald's being stuck in the past. They abandoned healthy foods such as salads.
Good points Dashing.....I just had a crazy vision of a proper waiter at McD's w/ a white linen towel over his forearm, holding a bottle of French wine for customer approval!! LOL.....Nah, I don't think so.
In and Out Burger seems like it's not far off from McDonalds in quality and yet it's always packed near my house. It seems like a little bit fresher could go a long way.
McDonalds started as a fast alternative and a treat for once in a while. Now people use fast food restaurants for their daily sustenance.
I didn't know BK tried table service first. They should have learned from BK's mistake.
Yea, I was in a Burger King once when the promotion was going on. They put baskets of popcorn on the tables as an "appetizer" while you waited for your food, I felt like I was at a kids' birthday party. Haha.
McD Columbus Ohio tried some table service back in the 1970s. It was a fad that passed quickly.
Yes, I would want a few people to only handle food deliveries and not someone who just cleaned the bathroom!

I guess you live in a busy location...most McDonalds are on the decline.
