Not sure about the particular cooker you are referring to. I cook lovely rice in the microwave with this ratio: 1 cup rice to 2 cups water for 12 minutes on high. It does boil up so it needs to be in a 6-8 cup container with the lid off. Fluff up with a fork when cooked.
You can tell if rice is cooked. It is not cooked if when you squeeze it and there is a little lump inside. Just put it back in for about 2 mins.
