Have you tried other substitutions? Instead of imitation beer try this next time out at the pub:


Ask the bartender to mix this in the blender: Tonic water, lime, honey, a pat of melted butter and a splash of orange juice. It's crazy but it works. The fizzy water satisfies the substitution for beer, the lime and honey give a sweet and tangy at the same time, the butter and o.j. fool your brain making it think you are getting something nutritious. Actually you are but don't tell your bar mates. You won't want to drink as much or as often. (If the pub doesn't have melted butter, use a little coco loco or coconut oil. If you hate coconut, use any kind of fat or oil the bar has.)
