Yes, there are cookbooks that give meal menus.
One such cookbook is "Weight Watchers New 365-Day Menu Cookbook." You select the type of main dish (for example, poultry, meat, meatless, etc.) and then choose from the recipes for that main dish. Also included are menus for the selected main dish, including snacks. And what's great about Weight Watchers recipes is that they don't taste like some diet recipes. I don't belong to Weight Watchers, and I'm not on a diet but I find interesting menu ideas from them.
