Mummy`s milk is all mine!

That`s how its been all these years..and we are talking about HUMAN BREAST MILK!

Human breast milk is produced by mothers to feed their babies, it is advised that a baby should be breast fed for at least six months for good healthy growth and immune system. So mother`s breast milk will be the primary source of food that a baby will consume before its able to eat and digest solid foods.

So some one asks you one day what your favourite ice cream is and you say baby gaga and lets say they`ve never heard of it and ask you more about it and you say its the yummiest breast milk ice cream ever to be made...and then there is a big SILENCE!....The other person will be like come again, what did you say it was and you repeat what you said before, can you imagine the reaction this other person would have on their face? How can you possibly have the guts to say to some one your favourite ice cream is breast milk ice cream?

Covent Garden, London-Icecreamists

The introducer of human breast milk Ice Cream-What`s their excuse?

"Popular London ice cream parlor, The Icecreamists, recently added a dozen new radical flavors to their menu. The one getting the most attention? Baby Gaga-a blend of lemon zest, Madagascan vanilla pods, and genuine, human breast milk. The Icecreamists founder, 44-year old Matt O'Connor, says Baby Gaga is intended to raise awareness of breast milk's deliciousness and encourage more breast feeding by mothers."

So apparently they have done this in an intention to raise awareness of the potentiality of breast milk and encourage mothers to breast feed their babies. But really is this going to encourage mothers to breastfeed their babies or The male kingdom to have excitements in their hormone glands?

The Cows finally get some freedom! Woman are here to take over!

WOMEN=COW??

God made human beings to rule over the world which includes the animal kingdom too and here we have human breast milk ice cream which makes me think, how can they do such thing? A woman`s milk is not the same as a cow`s, in a way many people will find this act offensive against women values.

Could cows produce human milk?

SPECIAL COWS THAT PRODUCE HUMAN MILK

A scientist professor called Lee Lyng has discovered special generation of cows using cloning technology which produces human milk. Oh i see now i get where they thought they will get all the gallons of breast milk needed for the icecream. They probably will make good use of these special cows that produce human milk. Does this make the situation any better for those who simply hate having to even hear about eating human breast milk ice cream? I doubt so.

Mother`s breast milk becomes a business? - "What's the harm in using my assets for a bit of extra cash?" Says Victoria Hiley, a Mother

Men usually have a thing for `breasts` and its their hormones, they cant help it so I am not blaming them. But making ice creams out of breast milk is not really going to help them is it? I honestly think it will drive dirty thoughts into a man`s mind the second he hears about it. besides that who would want their husband or boy friend to eat something made out of another women`s breast milk?

They are encouraging more women to participate in the business and offer their valuable breast milk for £15 per 10 ounces of milk donated.

It really doesn't bother me. People will eat any old rubbish and not care what's in it, but when it comes to breast milk, they find it "disgusting".

    • bechand 6 years ago

If I knew there was a market, I would have kept pumping - you loose 600+ calories a day pumping ... that is way easier than the gym - lol

    • bechand 6 years ago

to sell to the masses - disgusting - to try once to make it at home in an icecream maker - kinda funny - (but would not eat it myself! - maybe feed it to the baby...if your a long standing breast feeder - like those people that are still breast feeding their kids when they are 18 mos - old enough for ice cream ... )

    • MasterPsycho 6 years ago from Earth

i chose to be at this side of the board only to add my colorich avatar at the top ;D....i do not say i hate it or it is disgusting or i like it or whatever...i have a neautral opinion about it....but i hate the fact that this disgusting race ( humans) have to mess up with nature every freaking time....i do not get it....breast milk is for babies...end of the story...why they have to take something so pure, so useful and to put on top of it the weight of profit.....

I hate it..Its far too disgusting to even think about..

Breast feeding is something to be encouraged. Turning human breastmilk into a commercial commodity is not.

      • sherioz 5 years ago

Not only disgusting. It is taking the specialness out of the mother-baby relationship and making it a comodity. I can't believe this is for real. Is it? Or is it just a big joke on all of us?

      • goo2eyes lm 5 years ago

NO WAY, THIS IDEA IS DIGUSTINGLY OUT-OF-LINE. YOU ARE TAKING IN SOME GENETIC MATERIALS FROM OTHER PEOPLE INTO YOUR SYSTEM THUS CHANGING YOU AND YOUR HEIRS. YOU BECOME MUTANT AND PRODUCE MUTANT HEIRS.

      • anonymous 6 years ago

Chris is absolutely right! This is disgusting and possibly dangerous in many ways.

      • blanckj 6 years ago

I don't think people should be consuming a product from another human. As a mother and a teacher A mother's milk is specially formulated for her child through genetics and includes such things as antiviruses for viruses that she has been exposed to and certain levels of calcium and vitamins specific to the needs of the infant. The flavor of the milk is even varied by what the mother eats which leaves the taste of the ice cream to be inconsistent. I honestly believe this is on the border of being unethical.

      • anonymous 6 years ago

        What Chris said....and, yikes!

      • ChrisDay LM 6 years ago

Nothing to do with disgusting - I simply hate exploitative commercialism in all its forms. That's what this is. I see the $ signs cropping up all over the place and genetically-modified cows being utilised to produce quantities of the stuff. Forget it and stay away. If we buy, we encourage unbridled commercialism and reinforce the stranglehold that has on the world.

I really don't see why people are saying that it's weird at all, and saying that drinking cows milk is somehow normal, just because society does it doesn't make it natural. What we do now is a lot weirder than drinking cows milk

          Wow,

I don't think human breast milk ice cream is a good idea. I just can't help but picture lines of women hooked up to automatic milking machines like cows on a dairy farm. Not a good picture. Turning human breast milk into a commercial commodity is the last thing we need, another way to exploit the under privileged.

So they're doing this to promote breast feeding? When I first heard this I thought it was going to be animal right's activists making it in some protest against the dairy industry.

I'm sure it was mostly done for publicity. While I wouldn't go for this...I would support mothers pumping milk for babies who's mom's can't breast feed.

ok ...it seems i have a more opened mind than most of the people here.....i am not saying it is disgusting....i am not saying it is something right to do....and do not put labels on it..."oohhh it is not ethical....ooohhh i am offened by the idea" all i am saying is... it is really idiotic to use something so pure and useful to make profit out of it...do not mess up with nature....human milk is not produced in big quantitiees for a areason...because it is aimed for infants......and only for infants.....i was always curious how the breast milk tastes...i have tasted it... again..and again...and again....(and not only when i was a baby)

how many women are needed to produce a bowl of breast milk ice cream ...i wonder...

I very much like the lens - well done for highlighting this. Unbridled commercialism at its decadent, exploitative and sensationalist best. I shall keep clear of the disgusting/lovely argument and just say how I hate commercialism and what it is doing to us and our world and here's just another example. When we have a glut of ice cream anyway and it is damaging when fed in quantities to our children why does anyone think it's a good idea to add this into the mess? It's just a money-making opportunity and a sarcastic 'good luck' to those who spend their money this way.

@dc64 lm: I have no clue as well from where they thought they will be able to get all that gallons of breast milk needed for even a little bit of ice cream...and plus they could cheat with normal cows milk after some time and no one would know ...there are many health issues and things to think about this ice cream..plus man..why would i want to drink another woman`s breast milk ice cream?? its YUCK! apparently women donating milk undergo some blood test or something to see if their milk is healthy...but i still don't agree with this whole human breast milk product..eeesh

        • dc64 lm profile image

          dc64 lm 6 years ago

So who are they getting this breast milk from? It would take a lot of breast milk to make even a little bit of ice cream, even if it is mixed with regular ice cream. Also, what if the breast-feeding women have some disease or drug habit? What if they take medications that get into the breast milk? I wouldn't try it even under the best conditions because it has a huge gag-factor for me, but there are more things to consider as far as the purity of the breast milk.
