Choosing the best gas bbq for your needs

Here we have the best gas bbq compared and reviewed. There is nothing better than inviting your friends, family and neighbours round for a social barbecue but you need to have the right tools of course. There are arguments for and against gas barbecues however gas barbecues are definitely worth a purchase. Gas barbecues are great for backyard cookouts and when you compare them to charcoal barbecues it is easy to see why.

The advantages of gas barbecues are as follows;

1) When grilling with a gas barbecue you don't have to mess around with dirty charcoal.

2) With a gas barbecue you don't need to mess around with fire lighters or lighter fluid to get the barbecue going.

3) The gas barbecue is instantly hot and you don't have to hang around for hours on end tending to coals and waiting for them to heat up.

4) A gas barbecue has adjustable heat settings which are set by turning a knob.

The above are just a few of the advantages of a gas grill and I bet if you sit there and think for a while you will come up with many more.

The only disadvantage of grilling with a gas barbecue is there isn't a dancing naked flame to watch but if I can prepare food that is delicious and perfectly cooked then I am not overly bothered.

Best gas bbq - Large gas barbecues

If you have a large family, group of friends or simply like to throw a backyard cookout for the entire neighbourhood you are going to need a large gas bbq where you can grill lots of different things all at the same time. Fortunately, there are plenty of very large gas barbecues available, most of which are exceptionally good.

The large gas barbecues are big, heavy and take up a lot of space. These barbecues take a while to assemble and once put together they need to remain assembled, which will probably mean it will live outside and exposed to the elements. If you have to keep one of these large gas barbecues outside you need a sturdy cover to protect it.

Some gas barbecues are simply huge and are more of an outdoor cooker than an actual barbecue. That said, they are excellent for hosting large backyard cookouts for lots of family and friends. One such massive gas barbecue is the Char-Broil Classic 5 burner bbq.

This impressive gas barbecue has 680 square inches of grilling space, which is simply massive. With this much space you can grill steaks, burgers, chicken wings, sausages and ribs all at the same time. With this gas barbecue the chef won't have to stand at the bbq all night cooking which means you can join in socializing with the guests.

The four main burners and single sear burner packs a lot of cooking power, which is totally controllable so the chances of serving food that is charred on the outside and raw in the middle is virtually zero.
