I Blooming love Tea

Updated on December 27, 2014

I Blooming love Blooming Tea!

My family have always been tea lovers, but like to stick to a good English breakfast tea. PG tips is my moms and my grandads tea of choice. Personally, I have a much more diverse tea palette!

I like to travel a lot, and my taste in tea diversified when I travelled in Africa and Asia. When I travelled to Sichuan province of China, the weather was quite hot, so I went into a cafe and asked for water. To my surprise, they gave me a flask of boiling water, rather than chilled with ice. That's because people there carry their lose tea leaves with them everywhere they go!

I have tried Chai in China and Rwanda, green tea in China and mint tea in Morocco. I am a big fan of herbal teas and green teas as a consequence, and I'd like to share my love of tea in this lens. I searched for tea companies in the UK that could cater for my diverse international taste in tea. I absolutely love

Teapigs and LuLlin Teas (York).

LuLin Teas mainly produce green teas from China. They have over 8 different types to choose from. This is an excellent choice of brand for the green tea connoisseur. Their best tea, and possibly the best tea I have ever found, is this âblooming teaâ. As you can see here, this is a spectacular little brew that opens up in your cup like a flower itâs fascinating to watch and you should try it in a glass cup to get the full effect!

Green Tea and it's Health Benefits

Green tea is widely used to treat many different conditions, from the common headache to an infection, the properties in Green tea is known to benefit anyone who is feeling ill or under the weather. Most of the evidence to support this is circumstantial and is only beginning to be supported by Scientists as they study the properties and uses of Green Tea. One example is a study by the Journal of National Cancer institute which prove that by drinking green tea regularly, the risk of oesophageal Cancer is reduced by 50 percent.

Green tea is loaded with antioxidants, which are excellent for the skin and can keep your skin looking younger. It also kills bacteria in the mouth which reduces the risk of tooth decay.

It has also been proven that green tea can help with high cholesterol and also with arthritis, this is due to the high level of antioxidants. It's also used as an additional therapy for cancer patients. By drinking up to ten cups of green tea a day you can help lower high blood pressure, with a doctor approved diet.

Produced in the Nishio region in Japan, it is produced to ensure it contains high amounts of antioxidants, which is perfect for anyone who feels a bit sluggish.

Teapigs are an ethical company opting to champion one small Charity, they have raised over £38,000 for the Noel Orphanage in Rwanda, any donation you make they also pledge to match. I set up a fair trade project for Rwanda and have visited orphanages, so this tea company supports something that is very close to my heart.

Health Benefits of Drinking Detox Tea

Detox teas are different to Green tea, they are concoctions of teas to ensure a healthy detox to be able to flush out all toxins from your system. The teas included in Detox teas are a mixture, the most popular detox teas are, peppermint, chamomile, lemon grass and Mao Feng green tea, but you can add many more to the list.

Each tea has its own special detoxification elements, peppermint tea will remove toxins from your body and can be excellent for improving bowel and gastric disorders. Chamomile tea can help relieve bloating and indigestion and can help relieve symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress. Lemon Grass will help to detox the liver and kidneys and Mao Feng green tea contains lots of antioxidants which is beneficial for banishing toxins from the body.

Detox tea is a great way to remove toxins from your body and also an excuse to try lots of delicious types of loose leaf teas. My favourite detox tea is the Arbonne Herbal Detox Tea, a decaffeinated herbal tea with 6 botanicals that support the liver and kidneys for overall health.
