Blueberries and Yogurt

Updated on October 16, 2014

A Blueberry and Yogurt Recipe

I love Blueberries with almost everything; right off the vine, in pancakes, waffles, syrup, muffins, drinks, salads, pies, cakes, and lots more. But my favorite way to eat them is with plain yogurt. The tartness of plain yogurt and the sweetness of the blueberries are a great mix. Then I like to add my favorite toppings. Usually I like to sprinkle some granola on top and pour some honey over it. It's very refreshing and great during the summer. And it's simple to put together.

The Ingredients

The Bowl - make it a decent size. The Blueberries - don't forget to wash them. The Yogurt - I prefer low-fat Greek yogurt, but some people find Greek yogurt too thick. The Granola - find a brand you like. Most come with various nuts and fruits. The Honey - get a good brand of honey. The fresher, the better.

Yum. I love blueberries and so does my daughter. I like them with raspberry yogurt! I also like them in fruit salads too.
