Braun Multiquick food processor is a Life Saver!!!
What can I say, except I am so thankful I bought this product. I've had this machine for one month now and have used it everyday. Sometimes multiple times in one day. I used to hate cooking. No really, I hated it. I was known as the queen of the microwave. But recently I decided to cut preservatives out of my diet, which meant...learn to cook. I was grating, kneading, mixing, and blending all by hand. Ugh! I knew I needed a food processor. I shopped around, looked at less expensive ones and read reviews. This one looked as though it had everything. Most food processors have 2 speeds. High and low. This one has it all. It even kneads bread and since I have to bake my own bread now because I only eat gluten free, The Braun K650 Multiquick 600-watt Kitchen Machine Food Processor was made for me.
Some of the reviews I read complained about the volume of sound from the machine...who cares! have you ever heard the sound of a blender trying to blend humus at the perfect thickness? yeah...this is way better. It does say that all parts are dishwasher safe but for my own peace of mind I wash all parts by hand.
Some of the things I have made with this awesome machine are: My homemade Humus (See recipe below), easy grated hash browns, Gluten free Naan, split pea soup, and all kinds of diced vegetables for all kinds of recipes.
This product is worth every penny and then some. I would recommend it for anyone who wants to live an easier life. I plan to buy ALL the many attachments.

This is my recipe for Hummus. It is made with Peanut butter instead of tahini simply because I was too lazy to go out and find tahini and I always have peanut butter. But I love it!
- 1 : 2 cup cooked garbonzo beans
- 2 : 2 tsp Fresh minced garlic
- 3 : 1 tbsp Peanut butter
- 4 : 1/4 cup olive oil
- 5 : 1/4 cup water
- 6 : 1/2 tbsp Crushed red peppers
- 7 : 1/4 tsp Salt
- 8 : 1/2 tbsp Cummin
- 9 : 1/2 tsp Marjoram
- simply combine all ingredients in the food processor and blend until desired consistency.
