Breakfast Wraps A Healthy Way To Curb Hunger

Unique breakfast wrap recipe that has no eggs

For a unique breakfast wrap recipe that has no eggs in it (weird right? ;) ), try out this no killer breakfast wrap. This healthy breakfast recipe is gluten free, vegan, and fit for a raw food diet. Even non-vegans like my brother and dad have loved this recipe.

This wrap is full of tons of fresh veggies and seasonings to help eat flavorful and smart. I have include a list of optional ingredients that I Have used to make the wraps more interesting. Changing the flavor of the wrap by adding a different combination of veggies with help to avoid getting tired of the same foods when trying to eat healthy.

Cooking Ingredients


1 3/4 cups young coconut meat

1 pinch Sea Salt

1/4 teaspoons of water (bottle is preferred)

1 cup almonds, soaked for softening

1/2 cup sunflower seeds, soaked ( allowing them to sprout adds more flavor)

1 teaspoon turmeric

Swiss chard

Optional list to make a wrap as unique as you:


Cilantro (fresh preferred)




Tomatoes, diced


Bell peppers


And any other veggie you think would be good :)

Cooking Ingredients


1. To make the wraps, blend together the coconut meat, sea salt and water until completely creamy smooth. During the blending process, slowly add just enough water to reach a thick cream consistency. Pour the mixture onto a dehydrator tray. Spread as evenly as possible and about 1/4 inch thickness. Dehydrate until the wrap is dry but still pliable.

Note: for a less healthy, but vastly easier version use a pre-bought veggie wrap or Swiss chard leaf.

2. To make the filling, blend together the almonds, sunflower seeds, turmeric, sea salt and water. Add the water slowly while blending.

3. Place the filling mixture on your wrap, either the coconut wrap or on a Swiss chard leaf. Sprinkle with your choice of raw vegetables and spread with guacamole if desired.

      Sounds very healthy. We like to make veggie wraps and they are always delicious and flavorful. I didn't think of basing a recipe on coconut meat, but it's sure good for you. I'll give your recipe a try. I just wish fresh coconuts were easier to open and extract meat from.
